a week and another random thought.

This week was a very tiring week. I missed study session with faiz n syed for this week too. sorry guys. It was because of i had 5 interviews. Four were walk-in interview and the other one was from SHRDC for Plastic Mold Designer at Shah Alam. Oh, Sunway Group called me to attend an interview session after i  handed my resume to them, unfortunately, i left my phone in the car and they didn't call me back. Takde rezeki la tu.

Anyway, the four companies i mentioned earlier were Vickers Hoskin (VHM), Gamuda Berhad, Genting Plantation and Amcorp. I was quite frustrated with my performance that day because i really looking forward to work with Gamuda Berhad and i screw it. I hadn't done a full background study on the company. Amcorp on the other hand were interested with my experience in power generating industry and they will hand my resume for further action. Vickers Hoskin and Genting Plantation interested with male candidates only. They even told us that they were looking for the male candidates because it would be tough for  female engineers working with men around them. It's not about gender bias but more on safety wise and sexual harassment and i agreed with them.

I'm aware that to be a female engineer plus applying job as a field engineer will be a stiff competition. But it never makes me feel down or inferior. Maybe the mechanical engineer spirit is really in my blood. If that's so, thanks to Abah who inspires me a lot. I had experience working with men and even my friends, most of them are men. This introduces me how to work and think like a man. It doesn't mean that we have to be a man, but it is an advantage to know the way they think. Of course we need to throw away the manja2, our naturally born gedik and perasaan part when we're with them.

Some people are sceptical when they see a bunch of guys and A ladies hang out together. To be truth, i don't really give a damn. I don't know, maybe i'm lucky enough to be surrounded with very helpful and thoughtful boy-friends. They help me a lot in studies and other thing without any feeling attached. These guys are the person that i will never forget, never take them for granted and i'll make sure i attend their wedding ceremony by hook or by crook. *take note guys. =P

One thing for sure, most guys don't like girl who cannot make up her mind. so please learn and understand this wahai kaum sejenisku. i will talk about this later. Sudah melencong jauh entri ni.

*To my dearest Abah. Yes, u are my inspiration. You show me how to be a true mechanical engineer. It is not in the book but in the heart and i proud of you. =')

vblog? naah!

lately there were a lot of vblog out there. i did some before but i never publish it. so today i decided to do a kerja gila a bit, but turn out, i blank-ed and don't know what to say. i moved a lot too and blergh!  not to mention my suara monster.

so, end up, i used my laptop camera to snap a lot of pictures aka camwhoring.

akhirnya, dapat juga kumpul sama2 semua closest friends. All these friends are actually my course mates and also kawan susah-senang for the whole 4 years in this college. Those who help me a lotttt, crying and laughing together, hanging around, burning the midnight oil and doing silly things, apart from my ghay friends of course. so last sunday, we decided to barbecue and it was hosted by hafeez. let pictures do the talk.

laughing gas

kenapa aku sungguh beria bercerita pasal laughing gas ni?

because at first i thought it just a gas that make people laugh. like helium that can make u sound like a chipmunk.

no. it does not.

i accidently overdosed my self with laughing gas, and the effect is very embarrassing. it is not laughing out loud or laughing my arse off that matters me, but the 'other' effect that caused me to be like the post i wrote below and all silly acts i made. ohmy..!

and after i gained my conscious back, i googled what is laughing gas. why i was acting that silly.

and i found this.

"Nitrous oxide (or 'laughing gas') can cause analgesia, depersonalization, derealization, dizziness, euphoria, and some sound distortion. Research has also found that it increases suggestibility and imagination.Inhalation of nitrous oxide for recreational use, with the purpose to cause euphoria and slight hallucinations, began as a phenomenon for the British upper class in 1799, known as "laughing gas parties"."

this is NOT cool at all. i regret it.

seriously, i regret it. it was suppose to be fun. not really a big deal. 

i wrote this just for the sake of reminding my self not to try laughing gas again. might be useful for other people too. my advice, don't overdose.

baru balik dari Ikea. fuhhh... penat.

penat ketawa.

hari ini saya telah ke Ikea untuk makan meatball kerana mia adalah tersangat mengidam bebola daging. memandangkan hari ini adalah hari lahir mia, maka mia telah membelanja kami apa2 saja yang kami makan di ikea tersebut. Jadi SELAMAT HARI LAHIR ke 21 Nurul Amira Ngah. Walau bagaimanapun kek daim adalah tiada pada hari ini. hanya cheese cake saja yang ada. Namun kami tidak memakan kek pun. Kemudian dua orang kawan mia join sebentar ketika makan. Selepas berjumpa kawan mia, kami telah ke cinelesure the curve untuk menonton Yogi Bear 3D. selesai membeli tiket., kami telah berjumpa Tya dan juga Bait. Tapi hanya berjaya bercakap sebentar sahaja. Ketika menonton wayang, syed telah menalifon memberi tahu bahawa dia juga berada di ikea kerana menjadi baby sitter kepada adik nya yang sungguh tidak kelihatan seperti berumur 12 tahun. ianya seperti sebaya dengan mia. kami bertemu dia tutti frutti (again) the curve. semasa bersembang sambil menikmati tutti frutti (again), kami telah decide untuk membeli laughing gas. maka kami bergegas mencari kedai yang menjual laughing gas sebelum ianya tutup. Selepas itu kami mencuba laughing gas dan konklusi hari ini adalah:

Laughing gas adalah merbahaya. anda tidak akan berhenti ketawa. Jika terover dose, anda akan tidak mampu berhenti bercakap selama 45 minut dari Ikea ke Putrajaya seperti saya ketika ini. Anda juga akan menaip entri bodoh dan annoying seperti ini. jadi elakkan diri anda dari mencuba laughing gas, walaupun ianya sangat seronok. Hahahaha

red velvet is my new favorite flavor. me and tya. oh and i love oreo in every dessert.

entri takde kaintan dengan tutti frutti pun. cuma tadi baru lepas makan dengan tya. letak original flavor and strawberry banyak2 plus dengan red velvet. ingatkan nak try je, end up, red velvet sangat DAP!! harus topping mesti ada oreo dan juga strawberry banyak2. maka jadilah seperti di atas. 

ok dah. td cakap sebenarnya entri takda kaitan pun dengan tutti frutti tu. 

this week had been a not that busy week, tapi aku pulak terlebih melayan series. So blog pun terbengkalai. next week i'll be busy like a bee. ada 2 test. and satu cnc project. weekend ni my sis will be around and we had planning before on what we are going to do this weekend, last week. sebenarnya plan tergendala..

seminggu ni jugak bersama tya dan juga eda. mencari kayu nasi kandar hingga ke taipan. sanggup! nasib baik sedap. dan juga unplanned dinner at flaming steamboat. terjumpa rival pulak kat sana. haha. apalagi, sesi membahan la. and last but not least, another new friend yang sangat kelakar. actually tya's soon-to-be office mate. Hye Izamil! the most kelakar about this guy is, he's easily freaking out.

all those things are not the main concern for this entry..

seriously, why on earth do you want to follow me but u never read what i wrote in my blog? and if you have gazillion followers, do you think they really like your blog and read every post you update? come on, blog is aint facebook nor twitter. followers are not a competition. and there should be no force on following people.
ok, i notice i-follow-u-u-follow-me is a tactic to get larger network. it just, don't force people to follow you back. see i type this twice!

the reason why i didnt put 'follow me' button in my blog is simple. because my blog is where i exercise on delivering ideas and my writing skills. both in bahasa and english. and seeing my statistic once a month motivates me to be better next time, and blogging is my best self-realization method. the increasing follower, even one follower a month on my dashboard show me that there are people who really read my post. and i treasure them. it shows that people would search and hit the 'follow' button or adding in the 'blogs i'm following' if they appreciate the blog they read. this is the uttermost satisfaction to me and to keep me blogging.

so, if you blogwalking, you can leave the footprint and introduce your blog in the chatbox or comment section, but please, don't force people to follow u back.
