Second Update : My Wedding Attire

Bersambung lagi dari entri lepas.

After the engagement, benda pertama kami start adalah dress and wedding attire. Torn off between nak sewa, sewa but custommade, or cari designer to make our own baju. Kata sepakat, we made our own baju sebab since ini adalah our once in a lifetime big day, we want to keep the baju as the memoir of our wedding. Nanti boleh bagi anak pakai masa wedding dieorang. Hahah berangan.

The listing of the designer started. Aku list down satu-satu designer and end of the day lepas crossed few names, we ended up with Man Kajang and Dwen Raha. Masa tu dah memang nekad gila dah nak Dwen Raha after tgk collection2 dia kat FB. Satu malam, aku beranikan diri PM kat fb.. skali dia cakap dah penuh until August 2013. My god, masa tu baru bulan November kot.. So memang frust jugak la.. sbb kalau Man Kajang of course la tip top baju dia but since kami boleh cari designer yang better priced why not kurangkan spending on the attire kan?

Then esoknya aku g ofis cerita la kat Isma, my officemate. Ingat petang nak contact Man Kajang. Pastu dia cakap dia ada member designer. After dia tanya, her friend cakap memang nak tempah dengan designer patut tempah at least 6 months before the date. Kalau 6 months before, masa tu aku belum jumpa encik tunang. tsk3.Tapi Alhamdulillah, macam aku cakap, Allah SWT permudahkan urusan kami, the designer, Mrs. Imran masa tu baru lepas deliver her baby, so dia quite free at that time and willing to design and make my dress.

She is the owner of Nilam Boutique and her exclusive line for custom made wedding dress is under her name : Lady Imran Kuala Lumpur. The price is quite ok for us, a bit high from Dwen Raha, but obviously murah than Man Kajang. yey! To my surprise, Man Kajang was her wedding dress designer.

I gave her the color and the concept i want. It was lilac / lavender and i want it to be more less like Irma Hasmie's engagement dress. The veil that is attached on the shoulder, covering my chest and then going up on my head and falling freely at the back. Not too glamorous and i don't want it to have 'ekor' coz i might walking to meet the guest, n i dont want sebelah tangan pegang ekor kain and sebelah lagi salam dengan tetamu. -.-! Oh.. mula2 nak dress kain kembang, but not practical as the wedding will be held kat rumah, not hotel. Duh! Other than that, it's up to her creativity and she come out with the idea of dress with crochet. It was cool for me as lately ni banyak gila baju pengantin yang penuh beading or 3D flowers that the pengapit punya detailing lagi over dari pengantin. And lace is no-no for me sbb dah terlalu biasa. So.. yeah! it was a great idea for me. :)

The design was great, so i told her to proceed, and after few fitting session, this is my wedding dress;

Unfortunately, aku takde gambar penuh yang nampak semuanya except gambar yang taken using my camera phone by my brother. most of it gambar depan je dan x nampak crochet kat atas kepala. Nanti aku akan usahakan untuk ambil gambar kat mannequin n update later or if dapat gambar from OP.

Selain wedding dress, we also made my husband attire and also my custom made shoe with Lady Imran; Tadaaa...
